An Intro

Art Itself offers a variety of designs, colors and sizes to meet your needs. This page explains some of your options.
Handmade in the USA, our dishes are dishwasher safe, microwave safe, and food safe. Each piece is signed by the artist.

ORIGINAL DESIGN

Our Original design dishes feature one over all surface design. You choose one color and one design to be fired over the natural tan color of the clay.

Yin and Yang

The " Yang" version of the Original Design features the tan of the clay as the background of the dish.
Choose your favorite design with it's complement "yang" to make a coordinated food and water set.

Combo Dishes

With our Combo Dishes you can mix and match designs and colors to create your own design statement.

You choose one color and design for the inside,
a color for the rim,
and one color and design for the outside.

Breed Specific

We hand paint breed specific pet dishes, treat jars, coffee mug and platters. We can work off an e-mailed picture to match your pet's markings or work off our own references. You can have one large animal in the center of the dish or a number around the piece.

Portrait

You choose a design and color for the outside, a color for the rim, and then e-mail or mail us a good quality photo of your pet and we can paint a custom portrait. Check out our portrait webpage to see examples of our work.

Art Itself can paint your pet's name on any of our dishes for an extra $10. Please include the correct spelling when you place your order.
